Shanahan Lim
Vice President, Bay Area Family of Funds

Shanahan Lim is Vice President of the Bay Area Family of Funds, responsible for building double bottom line private equity funds and developing and managing community engagement programs.  These second bottom line programs include the Bay Area Ross Program in Real Estate, Bay Area Capital Connections, and the Bay Area Council Scholarship Program. He works closely with community partners to identify and address the needs of low-and moderate-income communities in the Bay Area and on the evaluation and reporting of second bottom line impacts from fund investments.

Shanahan brings over 10 years of experience from the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, having worked with a number of organizations prior to joining the Bay Area Council.  These include program management and development roles with Social Venture Network and California-Asia Business Council, real estate asset/property management experience with the Lim Trust, and a financial consulting background through Axa Advisors.

A Bay Area native, Shanahan holds a BA in political science and international studies from Northwestern University, and an MNA from the University of San Francisco.
